PP's tradesman arrived at the agreed time and set to work on a cistern washer that had been incorrectly installed when the house was built. He took the washer to a specialist supplier and found that the washer was not the right one. So he went to a different supplier and found the right washer. This meant that the job took longer than expected, but he stuck with the original quote. I was very satisfied with that. One task (one tap washer) was not completed, because the problem was not a tap washer problem. I intend to get PP back early in the new year to fix the tap.
