Remove existing external hot water unit. Replace with instentanious hot water unit at same location. Gas line from gas meter will also required to be changed from 3/4" to 1" service. Gas meter is located approx 3 meters from where hot water unit is currently located. Access to Gas Meter and hotwater unit is good. In regards to upgrading gas service line between meter and hot water unit, existing service line is approx 1 foot deep burried under soil. No concrete or other hard surfaces.
