Replumbing of gas to stove top to fit new oven

Purchased new oven that is much deeper than the old one so doesn't fit with the gas plumping for the gas stove top behind. The gas pipe should probably come up in the side cabinet instead. The old oven is already removed so free access to start work immediately.
I also have an old gas pipe to a pool heater that is now decommissioned that I would like removed or at least properly capped.
