Sink a gas supply line in front yard

Damon requested 3 quotes from Plumbers in Glen Iris

I am looking for a quote to sink a gas pipe in my front yard. The pipe runs from my gas meter to the house, it is copper and around an inch in diameter (I can obtain an exact measurement if required).

I would like to sink a 3.5m length of this pipe a further 200mm below its current level to allow some landscaping work.

The pipe will be exposed by me for the 3.5m length of the job.

Work required for the job will be -

1. Shut off gas to property
2. Cut gas pipe along 3.5m length and remove.
3. Dig trench 200mm below existing pipe exposure.
4. Lay new copper pipe and rejoin both ends.
5. Return gas supply to property and test for correct flow and leaks.
6. Fill in trench when pipe tests ok.
