Asphalt driveway stormwater pits are made from brick. Pits require 2 pit covers, safe enough for vehicles to drive over, won't move. Still able to clean pit. Pit size is 54cm deep x 39cm wide. Consider replacing with 450x450x600 polycrete pits with class c grate.

EXCELLENT! Highly recommend Elite Plumbing and Roofing. Unit complex job. Domestic/nearly commercial job. Replaced / renovated 1 of my old brick stormwater pits in the driveway with a new concrete pit. Jackhammered out the bricks and made a wooden mould. Poured in concrete into the existing stormwater pit. Replaced my old stormwater pit grates / lids with new galvanised metal grate frames / grates with the new commonly used moderns size grates. Jackhammered out 1 layer of old bricks at the top, made a wooden mould and poured in concrete. While concrete was setting put galvanised metal grate frame into concrete. Now have standard size grate frames. Excellent job, I could not get anyone else in Melbourne to do this. Cleaned out driveway stormwater PVC pipes by water jet cleaning. Put an inspection camera down sewerage clay pipe in unit complex and found a massive tree root between Units. Water jet cleaned out the sewerage pipe.
