Water pipes to be replaced from front of house to bck that lies from wall cavity

10 years ago i had the pipes replaced, however, the plumber did not replace one pipe that runs from the front of the house to the back, as it lies in a wall cavity. the water supply to the house is yellow due to mineral deposits. the water authority is replacing the pipes in the street supplying the house, and i would like to replace this old gal pipe mentioned above. instead of running the new pipe through the wall cavity, i would like to run it up the front of the outside of the house, through the ceiling and out to the back where the laundry is.
