I own a vending business. At times I remove the lift out condenser unit and have the compressor checked for being burnt out when unit isn't cooling. If the problem is a leak the I need the compressor re-gassed and the fridge deck piping leak checked. The compressors are around 1/3hp - the size you may find in a large domestic 2 door refrigerator. I can have up to 6 or more a week some weeks.
