Our current bathroom is a 1950s horror story. Asbestos walls (including shower stud wall), a rusting turquoise bathroom suite, uneven and cracked ceramic floor tiles and a ventilation/damp problem. We need to completely overhaul but need costs to remain at a minimum. We are aiming for white and simple, not designer luxury. Bathroom dimensions 2000 wide x 2690 long.
Works to be completed:
-removal of current bathroom suite and flooring
-removal of asbestos
-installation of extractor fan
-possible installation of heat lamp
-wall insulation to prevent damp/mould
-installation of new bathroom suite including fixtures and fittings (taps, shower head, shower recess, shower screen, vanity, mirror, lights)
-wall and floor tiling.
We are looking for work to be carried out ASAP so start/complete date will factor in our supplier decision as well as price. I will also be on hand for labouring duties (will take great pleasure in demolishing) to expedite the process.
