Bathroom renovation. 2nd level apartment, 25 year old building.
Tiling:
- Floor (happy to tile over existing even if it results in a small step up from hallway)
- Shower recess
Installation:
- New toilet - in existing position
- New vanity - in existing position - don't need to move taps
Already purchased;
- Recess tiles - including feature (only single strip required)
- Floor tiles still to be purchased
- Bathroom vanity
- Toilet, including p-trap bowl
- Shower head - movable head on pole - won't need to move existing plumbing
- will re-use existing taps
Notes:
- Step into the shower with 90 x 90 bath forming the base.
- Happy to look at options for the shower - ideally looking to remove the step and the bath element, however it is most likely that the built up shower base is for water drainage. An option could be to just retile the alcove and step, re-enamel the bath and install a shower screen.
- Would ideally like to install a semi-frameless shower screen (2 sides) but will depend on budget.
- Painting not required - will do this myself.
- Easy access to water and parking onsite.
- Happy to move out for up to a week for renovations to take place.
