Our ensuite shower has been removed and a new base has been put in by a friend who does renovations as his occupation. He was doing it as a ‘friend’ job, however, he is now busy and I don’t want to keep pestering him to come and do it. He has also waterproofed the wall where the Akril will be attached. He has completed a waterproofing course. We have already purchased the Akril but need it cut along the long edge so that it buts up against the other sheet squarely (the wall is not straight of course). A small amount of architrave will need to be cut where the Akril protrudes past the base. We would also want the semi-frameless shower screen, tap ware and shower head installed (all already purchased). The final item would be finishing the grout around the base of the shower base. The tradesperson needs to have already cut and dealt with Akril or similar painted perspex sheets. The sheets cost $400ea so we don’t want to be chancing someone ‘learning’ on our job. We are also looking at getting our main bathroom renovated and would be interested in the tradesperson quoting for this as well. We will want references from prior jobs. Many thanks.
