Fix defects in an incomplete double storey brick veneer house 80% near completion and lock up. Previous builder went bankrupt and deceivingly did not commission any of the critical stage inspections, hence no certifications have been provided at all after the construction certificate. The slab, footings, framework, waterproofing, pest all require inspections and then certifications. The major defect in the house is a sagging first floor, due to inadequate load bearing beams being used and the fact that no engineers drawings exist. To our dismay, we found all this out after the builder went bankrupt. We need competent, trustworthy and more importantly proven builders renovators willing to finish the job.
