1970's home has old single backdoor opening in to dining room causing space problem. would prefer sliding aluminium the same as other side of house. hole would need to be cut and ceiling propped for the job. the house has also dropped in that corner so building up bottom frame will be needed.
if this is a prohibitive cost then maybe some sort of single sliding door like you see inside some houses.
