From engineers report - It is recommended that 400mm diameter piers be excavated into firm natural ground in the front left hand corner of the residence, in the following locations: the corner, 2m down the left hand side wall , at each corner of the bay window and next the entry. These piers should be located next to the existing footing. A 200mm deep x 400mm wide section should be hand excavated from underneath the existing footing, so the existing footing can bear onto the new pier. In each pier install a cage of 4-N12 bars with R6@200 stirrups, ensure this cage goes into the excavated section underneath the existing footing. Fill with 25MPa and vibrate.
