I have an outside free standing pergola measuring 2.7m x 3.6m with beams on top in a fan design, that i want to cover the top, for shade, with a laserlight or similar coloured fibreglass sheeting. i imagine that, strutt's would have to be placed accross the beams to secure the sheeting from flying off in high wind. if an alternate mateial can be used, other than above, to reduce the overall cost, and still be effective, i would consider any recommendations.
