We have an 1880's 2 bedroom, single storey, single fronted brick cottage with a 10year old extension at the back. the front of the house (the older bit) has a silver galvansied roof which is rusted and suspectedly leaking which needs to be replaced. we have also been told that the roof beams are original and should also be replaced. we are ready to hire but because the building is hertiage overlayed, we need to submit a planning permit for apporval before we can go ahead. i would like to look at replacing with the same silver galvanised sheeting or with colourbond depending on the price difference.
