We just purchased a house with a small room extension alongside the fence. It is attached to the house. The previous owners must have built this room themselves. The roof needs replacing as it is now rotting (not angled correctly) and water is seeping through the room. I was told this extension did not have a permit as it was done over 7 years ago. I'd like to keep it but need the roof fixed.
