Andrew requested 3 quotes from Staircase Builders in Wynnum
Existing Timber Stairs at the front of the house are rotten.
- Treads 1 & 2 and Left-Hand Stringer are the worst. The whole thing needs replacement (but possibly re-using Hand-Rails, Bottom Rail & Ballustrading). Will be about 10 treads (open not closed). All End Cuts/Housings need to be sealed to prevent water ingress. Possibly may include painting (We already have leftover paint to match). Was considering Galvanised Stringers (With "Mock" Timber Stringer on the outside) to keep costs down.
