Balcony waterproof and re-tile required.
Requirements:
- remove old tiles
- clean and prepare surface for waterproofing
- caulk all junctions and construction joins with low modulus polyurethane sealant (sikaflex pro) and allow to cure over-night
- waterproof all balcony areas using reinforcing cloth over the entire area, at junctions and penetrations
- create tile screed base to regulation fall
- waterproof screed base
- supply and lay 300 x 300 glazed tiles - grout entire surface except junctions and expansion joints
- caulk junctions and expansion joints and top of border tiles
- seal surface of tiles (2 coats)
- clean area and remove rubbish
