There is a strong mould smell coming from my ensuite. I suspect a gap in shower grout and gaps behind tap flanges are possible cause of damp developing in the wall behind shower tiles and this has become mouldy. No other sign of damp in ensuite. Ensuite was renovated 5 years ago, and I am wondering if the tiling was done properly as it was done in my absence.

APA Constructions phoned initially, but I was held up at work and rang them to say so. We arranged another day and time, however they did not attend. Consequently, I gave the job to the second company who arrived and quoted at exactly the time we arranged.

They then gave me a price. After waiting approx. 1 week for the first tradesman to call and give me a quote, I decided to go ahead with the job with JNR. The job was carried out today and is very well done.
