Overall happy with job. Tiling, which is Adam\'s main focus, was well done.\r\nWas a real challenge to replace the toilet unit as the toilet water inlet tap and waste outlet pipe were very old and at the wrong height for modern units. In retrospect should have asked a plumber about the technicalities involved before employing a tiler to do the job. Bathroom and toilet look great now after the update which was achieved on a very small budget.\r\nPros:\r\n-Friendly, can-do attitude\r\n-Out of the box thinking to solve what could have been a very expensive issue (built false floor to raise toilet pipe up and avoid needing unsightly plinth under unit)\r\n-Fixed up some missing grout around bathtub - not in original scope of work and no extra charge\r\nCons:\r\n-Took 2 days rather than 3 that was originally expected (although was great to see him come back on the Saturday to finish the job rather than wait till Monday)\r\n-Flagged possible issues early in the process and was assured no problem, removed toilet and tiles and then flagged that there would be an issue (made me very nervous at the time)\r\n-Didn\'t finish up the edging where the tiles meet carpet (but did recommend going to Bunning\'s to get suitable product). Quite easy to cut and install this bit anyway.\r\n-No written quote or receipt (made me a bit apprehensive making a deposit without any official paperwork and details)
