Upon a visual inspection of the main shower it was found that the existing waterproofing membrane has failed as there were very high moisture readings detected in surrounding areas using a water meter.It is observed that the shower to be leaking due to water penetrating the wall to floor perimeter as the existing seal has deteriorated and failed. It was also found that the existing floor grout has holes and is porous allowing water to penetrate the tiled surface and travel.
