I require a concrete slab in charcoal colour for a courtyard. it can hopefully go on top of the existing old concrete which is on a slight slope. slab will be approx. 4.6m by 4.4m with a 1m triangle cut off from one corner to allow access to backyard - approx 16m2. as courtyard is on a slight slope, i wish to have the slab horizontal. it is bound on one side by an elevated porch and the house on another. i am hoping to have a brick retaining wall on the down side of the slope, with bricks matching the house (bricks will be supplied). it will be 3 courses high (4m long). the other side will increase from one course to 3 courses at the down slope end. i assume no formwork will be required as the charcoal concrete can be laid to the height of the bricks. i also hope to have a decorative piece in the middle of the slab if this is possible, made of the same brick as the retaining wall eg a circle or diamond shape. one edge of the slab will need a plastic drain (and pipe) under the backyard tap as it has been moved approx, 50cm away from the existing drain. also, there are three other related jobs. 1) i wish to have the elevated concrete porch coated with spray-on concrete in the same charcoal colour - 4.8m by 2m. 2) i need a walking path from the courtyard in plain concrete - 0.5m wide by 5.7m long. 3). finally, there is a section of the old concrete that will need replacing, which will be between the new elevated slab and the driveway. it will be in plain concrete - 1.7m by 4.7m, but will need to be driveway thickness.

At the moment, the excess water drains out of the external unit and pools in the corner of the balcony. The may be a need to create another run-off pipe to the balcony.
