2007. original faults were knocking of water in pipe (which sounded as though the water was boiling). indoor wall mounted controls for the slab heating and the ducted heating were not operating... 2007. original faults were knocking of water in pipe (which sounded as though the water was boiling). indoor wall mounted controls for the slab heating and the ducted heating were not operating correctly. service person attended to these faults,he replaced the thermostat on the boiler unit then checked the wiring under the house to which he stated didn't seem to be to specs. after a while he bypassed the internal wall controls and rewired the unit to run continuosly.i turned off the unit after winter season. 2008 turned the unit on and relit the pilot light and boiler ignited but after a while the floor hadn't heated up and on investigation found the boiler had gone back to pilot light only.after pressing the reset on the boiler's thermostat it ignited again but after a while the same scenario took place no heat in the floor and boiler went back to the pilot light operating only. in summary boiler doesn't operate long enough to heat the slab but will heat the other rooms using the ducted outlets but cuts out after a while as explained above. rewiring of power supply to the boiler and thermostat controls as well.
