It does not matter what materials are used to make it, provided it looks as similar as possible as it is required to meet urban planning requirements. We would like it be to designed as cost effectively as possible. It would also be preferable for it to be attached externally to the structure, as we do not wish to be demolishing our existing works. However, please note we do not have permission to put footings and posts into the footpath, so it will need to be attached via an alternative method (ie. Struts into the building etc..). Happy to discuss and provide building plans and photo of old shopfront!
