Job is for the removal of a damaged raised timber (tongue and groove) floor on ground floor of building and replacement with timber. The total size of the area is 36sqm. There is a roughly poured concrete slab where the timber floor has previously collapsed. This slab is located in “section 1” and is to be removed. It is approximately 6.7sqm and 250mm high. Work to be completed in two sections: Section 1: Size of area: 18.9sqm Damaged timber floor and poorly laid slab to be removed. Size of slab to be removed: 2800x 2400x 250 – 6.7sqm Ground under floor to be cleared and prepared Cables and sewer service to be appropriately conduited with access points left. Slab floor to be poured. Section 2: Size of area: 17.1sqm Damaged timber floor to be removed Ground under floor to be cleared and prepared Cables and sewer service to be appropriately conduited with access points left. Slab floor to be poured. Area is currently utilised for storage, so ideally the work would be completed in two sections (18.9sqm and 17.1sqm). We would transfer stored items from one area to the other between jobs. The area currently has a partially collapsed raised timber floor (from dry rot and termite damage), and a section of poorly laid concrete (approximately 2800 x 2400 x 250) The successful completion of this work may lead to the offer of another almost identical (a larger area with no stored items) job in the same building.
