Due to weather changes, my front door jam/striker plate has moved, and no longer aligns up with the striker bolt on the deadlock casing, effectively rendering the lock useless. So, I need to... So, I need to re-align/relocate the deadlock casing to suit the striker plate, or the striker plate to suit the deadlock casing. The resulting cavity after the re-alignment of the deadlock/striker plate, will need to be filled in (puttied?), and re-painted to suit the rest of the door. Regards, Bill.
