Need to be able to dismantle the steps (hardwood treads bolted onto metal runners) House is only 10 years old, so no rust or rot. Then cut/grind the handrails off. Shorten the runners and rotate 90 degrees. Weld feet and handrails back on in new position. Reassemble steps to land on a small concrete square (to be chopped out of the garden). The sort of job which is just a bit too big for DIY, especially if you don't have a welder, but not big enough to interest a builder really. Can fit in with your other jobs as it is not desperate but it needs doing so I don't park on the front garden, as it has a fair slope on it. Also, if someone does concreting as well, that would be handy as that will be needed later. Or I can get someone else to do that, not a problem.
