When switching the heating on at the control panel, only cold air blows out for 10 seconds and then stops. now when switching heating on, nothing happens. i have turned the power off at the wall... Just moved house - insulation was mentioned in the building inspection as requiring some work. i've been up in the loft space and over the original part of the house (4 rooms) the insulation is patchy and old, over the extension (2 rooms) with limited roof space, there doesn't appear to be any. the ceilings have halogen downlights, and vents for heating and cooling with associated ducts etc that will presumably have to be fitted around. i'm interested in a quote and discussion of options (fibreglass, loose fill etc) at this stage - there is a possibility that we will be extending up within a few years, therefore we might just live with it until then.
