We had an airconditioning unit installed this week and the builder chased out a 7m section of the concrete wall to install the ducting. He then rendered over the gap using a 'brickies mortar' of sand and cement. His rendering was not good quality and it protrudes out from the wall by a few mm and it has been unevenly applied. The render has dried and we are unable to sand it down. I'd like to provide photos of the job but the servicecentral website doesn't seem to accept uploads.
